Check out the New IELTS Vocabulary Page!

On the right hand side of the page we have a new section for practicing IELTS vocabulary. Click the link to study advanced IELTS vocabulary using flashcards that contain new words, definitions, and Arabic translations. It's an excellent tool for learnig new words. Just try out the first set of flashcards there!

Learning to Write a Structured Essay

Today we are going to start with a writing mini-course that will teach us the basic of how to write and IELTS Academic Writing Task 2 style essay.

New Material for Writing About a Process

One of the harder, and more obscure tasks in IELT Academic Writing is writing about a process shown on a diagram. In this step-up style course, there are 17 activities arranged in progressive order of difficulty, to help students practice writing about a process. Also included is a .pdf containing 16 process diagrams that are perfect for putting on the overhead for class discussion.
